Growing up my family always vacationed in the Outer Banks. We stayed in the same house, on the same beach, at the same mile, we always knew what to expect. There was no stress allowed on vacation. We didn’t have to worry about reservations mistakes, or finding a place to stay. Our family was able enjoy the vacation, the plans set every year for us to return to the place we loved, with people we loved.
Friends and family would pop in and out throughout our vacation. Everyone knew what week we were going to be there, whoever were always welcome whenever. We would grill out dinner, eat, laugh, play cards, enjoy each other’s company. We didn’t rush anywhere there were no agendas. No demands. No traffic. Nothing to due but enjoy the day.
Since coming to Lake Condos I have observed families, friends, couples of all ages doing exactly those things. The same pattern of enjoyment, wrapped around the love language of vacation.
I know that not everyone grows up with a family like mine, with vacations like mine, with memories like mine, but I hope, that more anyone’s get the chance to experience the joy of same, but different.
